Removal and Replacement Procedures

3. Remove the three black TM2 × 4 screws

that secure the

keyboard to the top cover and base enclosure (Figure 5-7).

4. Swing the back edge of the keyboard up and forward

and

rest the keyboard on the top cover.

5. Release the ZIF connector

to which the keyboard cable is

connected and disconnect the keyboard cable

6. Remove the keyboard.

Reverse the above procedure to install the keyboard.

1. Prepare the computer for disassembly (Section 5.3).
