Remote Control Functions

The remote control performs the following functions:

n Duplicates the functions of the projector buttons including

adjusting the on-screen buttons.

n Controls the computer connected to the projector by navigating

through the computer directories and opening and closing files.

IMPORTANT: To operate a computer using the remote control,

the remote control Y-cable (included with the Multimedia Adapter)

must be used. Connect the 8-pin connector cable to the appropriate

connector on the Multimedia Adapter and connect the USB

connector to the USB connector on the computer (preferred) or the

RS232 connector to the serial connector on the computer. Do not

connect both the USB and RS232 connectors to the computer.

NOTE: The remote control Page Up and Page Down functions

require an additional driver when used with the RS232 connector.

This driver can be found on the CD-ROM that came with your

projector.
