Optional Remote Insight Lights-Out Edition Interface Cable

To remove the Remote Insight Lights-Out Edition interface cable:

1. Power down the server. See the “Powering Down the Server” section in this chapter.

2. Extend or remove the server from the rack. See the “Preparation Procedures” section in

this chapter.

3. Remove the access panel. See the “Access Panel” section in this chapter.

4. Remove the PCI riser cage. See the “PCI Riser Cage” section in this chapter.

5. Disconnect the Remote Insight Lights-Out Edition interface cable from the PCI riser

board

6. Disconnect the Remote Insight Lights-Out Edition interface cable from the Remote Insight

Lights-Out Edition expansion board .

Reverse steps 1 through 6 to replace the Remote Insight Lights-Out Edition interface cable.
